1 ...?... Žil v srdciach apoštolov a otvoril oči slepým, bude spasený. A kto neuverí, bude zatratený. Tieto znamenia budú sprevádzať tých, ktorí uveria: v mojom Mene budú vyháňať démonov. A keď to povedal, bol vzatý do neba a posadený po pravici Otca, aby bdel nad Svojou Cirkvou. Čokoľvek vyznáte, že On je pre vás, to On vyzná pred Otcom, odkiaľ príde vo Svojej moci a sláve... A Jeho učeníci vyšli všade kázať, pričom Pán spoluúčinkoval a potvrdzoval Slovo znameniami, ktoré ich sprevádzali: Svätý Marek 16.
2 Aký je úžasný, aký je slávny. Na svete nie je lepší čas na krst ako tento. Len zostaňte tam. Chlapci o chvíľu vyjdú. Kandidáti počuli Hlas vzkrieseného Krista.
Stála tam žena, ktorá stála za... Videla, ako Grant prišiel, aby obsadil Richmond. Bola to cudzinka. Povedala, „Moje oči uvideli slávu Pánovho príchodu.“ Jedného dňa príde. 3 Kým bol... Duch Pánov povedal, „Priblíž sa k vozu,“ a tu bol eunuch, ktorý čítal Písmo, Izaiáš 40, „Všetci sme zblúdili ako ovce a Boh na nás vložil neprávosť – na Neho, neprávosť nás všetkých, ale On bol zranený za naše prestúpenia, zdrtený pre naše neprávosti, trest nášho pokoja bol na Ňom. Jeho ranami sme boli uzdravení.“
A Filip povedal, „Rozumieš tomu, čo čítaš?“
On povedal, „Ako by som mohol, ak ma nikto nepoučí?“ Filip teda vystúpil na voz a na základe toho istého úryvku z Písma mu začal hovoriť o Kristovom vzkriesení a Jeho moci. Verím, že Kristus je s nami, vy nie?
A eunuch povedal, „Tu je voda. Čo mi bráni, aby som bol pokrstený?“, hneď, ako počul toto posolstvo.
On povedal, „Môžeš, ak veríš celým svojím srdcom, celou svojou dušou a celou svojou mysľou.“
Povedal, „Verím celým svojím srdcom, celou svojou dušou a celou svojou mysľou, že Ježiš Kristus je Syn Boží.“ Zastavil voz. A stalo sa.
Keď skutočne vo svojom srdci uveríš, že On je Syn Boží, ten, kto verí, nebude odsúdený. Zastavil voz. Filip a eunuch zostúpili do vody. Filip splnil svoj príkaz tým, že ho pokrstil. 4 K umierajúcemu... Teraz spasený a naplnený Duchom. Všetci kričali, výskali a vyvádzali. Duch Svätý zostupoval. Ďalšou vecou bol krst po obrátení. Skutky apoštolov, 2. kapitola, 37. verš: A keď to počuli, boli bodnutí v srdci a povedali Petrovi a ostatným apoštolom, „Mužovia bratia, čo máme robiť?“
Vtedy im Peter povedal, „Čiňte pokánie a dajte sa pokrstiť každý z vás v Mene Ježiša Krista na odpustenie hriechov, a dostanete dar Ducha Svätého; lebo to zasľúbenie platí pre vás, pre vaše deti a pre tých, ktorí sú široko ďaleko, pre všetkých, ktorých Pán, náš Boh, povolá.“
Nebeský Otče, uplynulo tisícdeväťsto rokov odvtedy, čo bolo napísané Písmo, a Tvoj sľub stále platí. A teraz, Pane, tu sú títo mladí ľudia, tieto dve mladé dámy, ktoré stoja po mojej pravici; prijali Ťa za svojho Spasiteľa; veria príbehu Evanjelia. Po mojej ľavici, Pane, je môj malý synovec Melvin a môj vlastný syn. Ó, Bože, keby bolo možné, aby dnes ráno boli dve matky povolané pozrieť sa cez zábradlie, pozrieť sa dolu a vidieť teraz svojich chlapcov... Ó, aký som šťastný, Pane. Ó, vedieť, že Ty vypočúvaš modlitby. Tá chudobná skromná matka Ruth, tá už pred rokmi odišla, ale jej modlitba je teraz vyslyšaná. Modlila sa, aby Ťa miloval a slúžil Ti. Dnes ráno sa rozhodol. Čo sa týka tých ostatných, ich matky možno už odišli, Pane, my to nevieme; Ty to vieš, ale nech je to akokoľvek, vyslyš modlitbu.
A teraz, drahý Otče, ako Tvoj pokorný služobník, kazateľ Evanjelia, pristupujem k splneniu svojej povinnosti ako kňaz. Bože, zmiluj sa. A keď ich pokrstím vodou, nech Duch Svätý vtlačí Krista do ich sŕdc. A keď vystúpia z vody, nech podobne, ako si Ty vstal na Veľkonočné ráno, povstanú z hrobu tejto chladnej vody; nech jedného dňa, ak odídu odpočívať do hrobu, nech sa hrudy hliny rozpadnú a náhrobný kameň odvalí. Znovu sa zjednotia, Pane, so svojimi blízkymi v Kráľovstve s naším Pánom Ježišom Kristom, ktorý to všetko umožnil. Nech každý z nich odchádza s plným vedomím, s plnou istotou toho, čo robí, s vedomím, že teraz kráča vpred, veriac, že tento príbeh je pravdivý. On povedal, „Kto verí, nebude odsúdený. Ja som vzkriesenie a život. Kto verí vo Mňa, aj keby zomrel, bude žiť. Každý, kto žije a verí vo Mňa, nikdy nezomrie.“ Tu je ich viera, ich svedectvo. Pane, keď ich krstím do spoločenstva tejto cirkvi, Pane, pokrsti ich do spoločenstva Tvojho milovaného Syna skrze Ducha Svätého, lebo Ťa o to prosíme v Mene Pána Ježiša. Amen.

5 ... vyznávajúc svoju vieru, zostupujúc dolu v Mene Pána Ježiša, veriac, že Ježiš zomrel a dnes ráno vstal z mŕtvych, idúc...?... a nech ho Boh požehná a urobí z neho kazateľa, to je moja modlitba, aby niesol Slovo života umierajúcemu národu.
Skloňme svoje hlavy. Ó, nebeský Otče, zmiluj sa, drahý Otče. Pozri sa na tohto chudobného malého chlapca, ktorý tu stojí. Ak by to bolo možné, nevieme, či...?... Pane. Ak je to možné, Pane, nech si jeho matka tam v tej Krajine dnes ráno uvedomí, že jej milovaný syn sa teraz obracia k Pánu Ježišovi; vstupuje do chladného hrobu, vedomý si toho, že jedného dňa sa hrudy zeminy odsunú z jej tváre a ona vystúpi vo vzkriesení. Nech ho Boh požehná a urobí z neho veľkého muža, Pane, nech oslavuje Tvoje Meno. Teraz...?... Pane, videl som, že ho... že ho jedného dňa povoláš. A modlím sa, aby si mu dal, ó, večný život, Pane. A ak je to Tvoja vôľa, urob z neho kazateľa, aby kázal Slovo. Vypočuj moju modlitbu, Pane, lebo si nás poveril, aby sme išli do celého sveta, robili učeníkov zo všetkých národov a krstili ich vo Meno Otca, Syna a Ducha Svätého. Netušil som, že to urobí, ale vybral si práve tento deň, deň zmŕtvychvstania, prijal Ježiša za svojho Spasiteľa, uveril v Jeho zmŕtvychvstanie a dnes ráno pred ľuďmi svedčil, že verí v smrť, pochovanie a zmŕtvychvstanie Ježiša Krista, prijíma Ho za svojho Spasiteľa a teraz sa nechá pokrstiť. Keď som tam stál, netušil som, že sa nechá pokrstiť. Brat Mack, nech ťa Boh požehná, môj drahý brat. Modlím sa, aby ho Boh naplnil Duchom Svätým. ...?... jeden ...?... Jeho miesto je vždy tam dole pri kazateľoch. Čokoľvek... Kazatelia sa tam zastavujú a berú si, čo on má. Je dobrosrdečný, dobroprajný, on, jeho manželka a deti. A modlím sa, aby ho Boh teraz ešte hojnejšie požehnal. Kým sa teraz modlíme, skloňte hlavy. Otočte sa týmto smerom...?...
Všemohúci Bože, nebol ešte žiadny skutok lásky, ktorý tento muž vykonal, o ktorom by si Ty nevedel. Máš to všetko tam hore podrobne zaznamenané. Ale najväčší skutok, aký kedy v živote vykonal, tá najväčšia vec, je prijatie Tvojho milovaného Syna za svojho osobného Spasiteľa, vypočuj modlitbu jeho milujúcej manželky a jeho detí a všetkých, ktorí sa za neho modlia, aby sem prišli k bazénu, aby sa pred týmto publikom vyznali a svedčili o tom, že boli pokrstení vodou, veriac, že tento veľkonočný príbeh je pravdivý. Všemohúci Bože, naplň ho Duchom Svätým. Daj mu dlhý, šťastný život a v budúcom svete večný život skrze Ježiša Krista. 7 Teraz sa všetci modlíme, aby Boh naplnil brata Billyho, ktorý tu stojí, Duchom Svätým. Volám ho brat Billy, lebo sme blízki kamaráti, priatelia. Teraz si len obopni telo rukami.
Nebeský Otče, pozri sa práve teraz na túto scénu. A keďže tu stojí náš brat Jason s vyznanou vierou v Ježiša Krista, veriaci v smrť, pohreb a vzkriesenie, a stojí tu v chladnej vode, ktorá symbolizuje smrť, ktorá nám odňala nášho Spasiteľa, ktorý zomrel namiesto nás, zostupujeme sem na pamiatku Jeho smrti, pochovania a vzkriesenia, aby sme povstali k novému životu a slúžili Mu. 8 Toto je jeden z najväčších okamihov môjho života. Pozeral som cez plece niekoho, a zbadal som svoju matku. Viedol som ju sem k rieke Ohio a pokrstil som ju na Meno Pána Ježiša. Teraz môj vlastný syn. Ó, Bože, ak je to možné, nech sa Hope dnes ráno pozrie cez to zábradlie, nech sa pozrie cez závoj, ktorý visí medzi zemou a Slávou. Modlím sa, Bože, aby si z môjho syna urobil kazateľa. Modlím sa, aby ho Boh pomazal a dal mu dvojnásobnú porciu Ducha. Nech Boh požehná jeho život.
Ďakujem vám všetkým za vaše modlitby. Modlitba mení veci. Budem sa modliť aj za vaše deti. Billy, chlapče, jedného dňa, zlatko, ak Ježiš bude predlievať, budeme musieť ísť do jedného z týchto hrobov, kde na nás nasypú zem. Som tak vďačný, že urobil pokánie, Bože. Ó, Pane Ježišu, ó, Kriste, pomaž ho Duchom Svätým. Udeľ mu, Pane, aby moc Ducha vzkrieseného Krista... podrž môjho chlapca. Udeľ mu to, Pane. Tu stojí a pred sebou má vlastný hrob, Pane. Spomínam si na to ráno tam vonku, keď sme tam išli, kde ležala jeho mama a sestra. Ó, Kriste, toto bude zaznamenané v nebi. Zmiluj sa, Bože, udeľ môjmu chlapcovi vieru počas jeho života a na jeho ceste Domov, požehnaj ho v živote, požehnaj ho, Pane. Nech má veľkú službu a nech zachraňuje duše. Tu je, Pane. 3 While He was... The Spirit of the Lord said, "Go near to the chariot," and here was the eunuch reading the Scripture, Isaiah 40: "All we like sheep have gone astray and God has laid upon us the iniquity--upon Him, the iniquity of us all, but He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. With His stripes we were healed."
And Philip said, "Understandest thou what thou readest?"
He said, "How can I 'less someone teach me?" So Philip got up on the chariot and o--taken the same Scripture begin to speak to him of the resurrection of Christ and His power. I believe Christ is with us, don't you?
And the eunuch said, "Here's water. What does hinder me from being baptized?" as soon as he heard the message.
He said, "Thou mayest, if thou believest with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
He said, "I believe with all of my heart, soul, and mind, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." He stopped the chariot. It was done.
When you truly, in your heart, believe that He is the Son of God, He that believeth shall not be condemned. He stopped the chariot. Philip and the eunuch went down into the water. Philip obeyed his commission by baptizing him. And when he did, the Spirit of the Lord caught him away. They didn't see him any more; he was two hundred miles away. Stand him...?... 4 To the dying one.... Now saved and filled with the Spirit. They were all shouting and screaming and carrying on. The Holy Spirit was falling. Next thing was baptism after conversion. Acts the 2nd chapter, the 37th verse: And when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost; for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."
Heavenly Father, nineteen hundred years since the Scripture has been written, and Your promise is still moving on. And now, Lord, here these young people, these two young ladies standing here to my right, they've accepted You as their Saviour; they believe the Gospel story. To my left, Lord, is my little nephew Melvin, and my own boy. O God, if it's possible this morning that two mothers could be called to look over the banister, to look down and see their boys now... Oh, how happy I am, Lord. Oh, to know that You, You answer prayer. That poor little mother Ruth, she's gone on years ago, but her prayer is answered now. She prayed that he would love You and serve You. He's making his stand this morning. To these others, their mothers maybe has gone on, Lord, we don't know; Thou does, but whatever, answer prayer.
And now, dear Father, as Your humble servant, a minister of the Gospel, I bring forward to perform my duty, as a priest. God, have mercy. And as I baptize them with the water, may the Holy Spirit seal Christ into their hearts. And may as they come up out of the water as You come up on the Easter morning, and may they raise from the watery grave of this chilly cold water; may someday, if they go to rest in the grave, may the clay clods break, the tombstone roll back. They'll be reunited again, Lord, with their loved ones in the kingdom with our Lord Jesus Christ Who made all this possible. May each one go with a full memory, the full assurance of what they're doing, moving--that they're moving forward now, believing this story to be true. He said, "He that believeth shall not be condemned. I am the Resurrection and Life. He that believeth in Me though he were dead, yet shall he live. Whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die." Here's their faith, their testimony. Lord, as I baptize them into the fellowship of this church, Lord, baptize them into the fellowship of Thy beloved Son by the Holy Spirit, for we ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

God bless him and make a great man out of him, Lord, let him glorify Your Name. Now...?... Lord, I seen that he would--You'd call him someday. And I pray that You'll give him, oh, Eternal Life, Lord. And if it be Thy will, make a minister out of him to preach the Word. No matter how much I turned him down or what I did, he was my buddy just the same. That's a real friend. That's not a dry weather friend; that's a friend who sticks by you in right or wrong. I'm happy this morning for Brother Nelson. I'm happy that he's chosen this day. I... Little did I know that he would do it, but he has chose this day, the resurrection, accepting Jesus as His Saviour, believing in His resurrection, and testifying before the people this morning, that he believes in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, accepts Him as his Saviour, and now to be baptized. I didn't know standing out there, that he would be baptized. Brother Mack, God bless you, my dear brother. I pray that God will fill him with the Holy Spirit. ...?... one ...?... His place down there is just one constant place for ministers. Anything... Ministers just come by and just help themselves to what he has. Almighty God, there's never been a charitable deed this man has done but what You knowed about it. You've got it all recorded up there in full. But the greatest deed that he's ever done in his life, the greatest thing, is accepting Thy beloved Son as His personal Saviour, hear the prayer of his loving wife and his children and everyone praying for him that they walk here to the pool to make a confession before this audience and testifying of being baptized with water, believing this Easter story is true. Almighty God, fill him with the Holy Spirit. Give him a long, happy life, and in the world to come, Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. O Jesus, Son of God, Who taught us to be... 8 One of the greatest moments of my life. Looking across somebody's shoulder, my mother. I led her out here in the Ohio River and baptized her in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Now, my own boy. O God, if possible, let Hope look down over the banister this morning, look across the veil, hangs between earth and glory. I pray, God, will make a preacher out of my boy. I pray that God will anoint him and give him a double portion of the Spirit. May God bless his life.

1 ...?... Žil v srdciach apoštolov a otvoril oči slepým, bude spasený. A kto neuverí, bude zatratený. Tieto znamenia budú sprevádzať tých, ktorí uveria: v mojom Mene budú vyháňať démonov. 2 Aký je úžasný, aký je slávny. Na svete nie je lepší čas na krst ako tento. Len zostaňte tam. Chlapci o chvíľu vyjdú. Kandidáti počuli Hlas vzkrieseného Krista.
Stála tam žena, ktorá stála za... Videla, ako Grant prišiel, aby obsadil Richmond. Bola to cudzinka. Povedala, „Moje oči uvideli slávu Pánovho príchodu.“ Jedného dňa príde. 3 Kým bol... Duch Pánov povedal, „Priblíž sa k vozu,“ a tu bol eunuch, ktorý čítal Písmo, Izaiáš 40, „Všetci sme zblúdili ako ovce a Boh na nás vložil neprávosť – na Neho, neprávosť nás všetkých, ale On bol zranený za naše prestúpenia, zdrtený pre naše neprávosti, trest nášho pokoja bol na Ňom. Jeho ranami sme boli uzdravení.“
A Filip povedal, „Rozumieš tomu, čo čítaš?“
On povedal, „Ako by som mohol, ak ma nikto nepoučí?“ Filip teda vystúpil na voz a na základe toho istého úryvku z Písma mu začal hovoriť o Kristovom vzkriesení a Jeho moci. Verím, že Kristus je s nami, vy nie?
A eunuch povedal, „Tu je voda. Čo mi bráni, aby som bol pokrstený?“, hneď, ako počul toto posolstvo.
On povedal, „Môžeš, ak veríš celým svojím srdcom, celou svojou dušou a celou svojou mysľou.“
Povedal, „Verím celým svojím srdcom, celou svojou dušou a celou svojou mysľou, že Ježiš Kristus je Syn Boží.“ Zastavil voz. A stalo sa.

4 K umierajúcemu... Teraz spasený a naplnený Duchom. Všetci kričali, výskali a vyvádzali. Duch Svätý zostupoval. Ďalšou vecou bol krst po obrátení. Skutky apoštolov, 2. kapitola, 37. verš: A keď to počuli, boli bodnutí v srdci a povedali Petrovi a ostatným apoštolom, „Mužovia bratia, čo máme robiť?“
Vtedy im Peter povedal, „Čiňte pokánie a dajte sa pokrstiť každý z vás v Mene Ježiša Krista na odpustenie hriechov, a dostanete dar Ducha Svätého; lebo to zasľúbenie platí pre vás, pre vaše deti a pre tých, ktorí sú široko ďaleko, pre všetkých, ktorých Pán, náš Boh, povolá.“
Nebeský Otče, uplynulo tisícdeväťsto rokov odvtedy, čo bolo napísané Písmo, a Tvoj sľub stále platí. A teraz, Pane, tu sú títo mladí ľudia, tieto dve mladé dámy, ktoré stoja po mojej pravici; prijali Ťa za svojho Spasiteľa; veria príbehu Evanjelia. Po mojej ľavici, Pane, je môj malý synovec Melvin a môj vlastný syn. Ó, Bože, keby bolo možné, aby dnes ráno boli dve matky povolané pozrieť sa cez zábradlie, pozrieť sa dolu a vidieť teraz svojich chlapcov... Ó, aký som šťastný, Pane. Ó, vedieť, že Ty vypočúvaš modlitby. Tá chudobná skromná matka Ruth, tá už pred rokmi odišla, ale jej modlitba je teraz vyslyšaná. Modlila sa, aby Ťa miloval a slúžil Ti. Dnes ráno sa rozhodol. Čo sa týka tých ostatných, ich matky možno už odišli, Pane, my to nevieme; Ty to vieš, ale nech je to akokoľvek, vyslyš modlitbu.
A teraz, drahý Otče, ako Tvoj pokorný služobník, kazateľ Evanjelia, pristupujem k splneniu svojej povinnosti ako kňaz. Bože, zmiluj sa. A keď ich pokrstím vodou, nech Duch Svätý vtlačí Krista do ich sŕdc. A keď vystúpia z vody, nech podobne, ako si Ty vstal na Veľkonočné ráno, povstanú z hrobu tejto chladnej vody; nech jedného dňa, ak odídu odpočívať do hrobu, nech sa hrudy hliny rozpadnú a náhrobný kameň odvalí. Znovu sa zjednotia, Pane, so svojimi blízkymi v Kráľovstve s naším Pánom Ježišom Kristom, ktorý to všetko umožnil. Nech každý z nich odchádza s plným vedomím, s plnou istotou toho, čo robí, s vedomím, že teraz kráča vpred, veriac, že tento príbeh je pravdivý. On povedal, „Kto verí, nebude odsúdený. Ja som vzkriesenie a život. Kto verí vo Mňa, aj keby zomrel, bude žiť. Každý, kto žije a verí vo Mňa, nikdy nezomrie.“ Tu je ich viera, ich svedectvo. Pane, keď ich krstím do spoločenstva tejto cirkvi, Pane, pokrsti ich do spoločenstva Tvojho milovaného Syna skrze Ducha Svätého, lebo Ťa o to prosíme v Mene Pána Ježiša. Amen.

5 ... vyznávajúc svoju vieru, zostupujúc dolu v Mene Pána Ježiša, veriac, že Ježiš zomrel a dnes ráno vstal z mŕtvych, idúc...?... a nech ho Boh požehná a urobí z neho kazateľa, to je moja modlitba, aby niesol Slovo života umierajúcemu národu.
Skloňme svoje hlavy. Ó, nebeský Otče, zmiluj sa, drahý Otče. Pozri sa na tohto chudobného malého chlapca, ktorý tu stojí. Ak by to bolo možné, nevieme, či...?... Pane. Ak je to možné, Pane, nech si jeho matka tam v tej Krajine dnes ráno uvedomí, že jej milovaný syn sa teraz obracia k Pánu Ježišovi; vstupuje do chladného hrobu, vedomý si toho, že jedného dňa sa hrudy zeminy odsunú z jej tváre a ona vystúpi vo vzkriesení. Nech ho Boh požehná a urobí z neho veľkého muža, Pane, nech oslavuje Tvoje Meno. Teraz...?... Pane, videl som, že ho... že ho jedného dňa povoláš. A modlím sa, aby si mu dal, ó, večný život, Pane. A ak je to Tvoja vôľa, urob z neho kazateľa, aby kázal Slovo. Vypočuj moju modlitbu, Pane, lebo si nás poveril, aby sme išli do celého sveta, robili učeníkov zo všetkých národov a krstili ich vo Meno Otca, Syna a Ducha Svätého. Netušil som, že to urobí, ale vybral si práve tento deň, deň zmŕtvychvstania, prijal Ježiša za svojho Spasiteľa, uveril v Jeho zmŕtvychvstanie a dnes ráno pred ľuďmi svedčil, že verí v smrť, pochovanie a zmŕtvychvstanie Ježiša Krista, prijíma Ho za svojho Spasiteľa a teraz sa nechá pokrstiť. Keď som tam stál, netušil som, že sa nechá pokrstiť. Brat Mack, nech ťa Boh požehná, môj drahý brat. Modlím sa, aby ho Boh naplnil Duchom Svätým. ...?... jeden ...?... Jeho miesto je vždy tam dole pri kazateľoch. Čokoľvek... Kazatelia sa tam zastavujú a berú si, čo on má. Je dobrosrdečný, dobroprajný, on, jeho manželka a deti. A modlím sa, aby ho Boh teraz ešte hojnejšie požehnal. Kým sa teraz modlíme, skloňte hlavy. Otočte sa týmto smerom...?...
Všemohúci Bože, nebol ešte žiadny skutok lásky, ktorý tento muž vykonal, o ktorom by si Ty nevedel. Máš to všetko tam hore podrobne zaznamenané. Ale najväčší skutok, aký kedy v živote vykonal, tá najväčšia vec, je prijatie Tvojho milovaného Syna za svojho osobného Spasiteľa, vypočuj modlitbu jeho milujúcej manželky a jeho detí a všetkých, ktorí sa za neho modlia, aby sem prišli k bazénu, aby sa pred týmto publikom vyznali a svedčili o tom, že boli pokrstení vodou, veriac, že tento veľkonočný príbeh je pravdivý. Všemohúci Bože, naplň ho Duchom Svätým. Daj mu dlhý, šťastný život a v budúcom svete večný život skrze Ježiša Krista. Ó, Ježišu, Synu Boží, ktorý si nás učil, „Choďte do celého sveta, robte učeníkov zo všetkých národov, krstite ich vo Meno Otca, Syna a Ducha Svätého...“ Na základe vyznania tvojich hriechov a tvojej viery v Božieho Syna ťa krstím, môj milovaný brat, vo Meno Pána Ježiša Krista. 7 Teraz sa všetci modlíme, aby Boh naplnil brata Billyho, ktorý tu stojí, Duchom Svätým. Volám ho brat Billy, lebo sme blízki kamaráti, priatelia. Teraz si len obopni telo rukami.
Nebeský Otče, pozri sa práve teraz na túto scénu. A keďže tu stojí náš brat Jason s vyznanou vierou v Ježiša Krista, veriaci v smrť, pohreb a vzkriesenie, a stojí tu v chladnej vode, ktorá symbolizuje smrť, ktorá nám odňala nášho Spasiteľa, ktorý zomrel namiesto nás, zostupujeme sem na pamiatku Jeho smrti, pochovania a vzkriesenia, aby sme povstali k novému životu a slúžili Mu. Všemohúci Bože, požehnaj môjho brata; požehnaj jeho talenty, urob z neho veľkého človeka, Pane, pre Teba. Vypočuj modlitbu svojho služobníka. 8 Toto je jeden z najväčších okamihov môjho života. Pozeral som cez plece niekoho, a zbadal som svoju matku. Viedol som ju sem k rieke Ohio a pokrstil som ju na Meno Pána Ježiša. Teraz môj vlastný syn. Ó, Bože, ak je to možné, nech sa Hope dnes ráno pozrie cez to zábradlie, nech sa pozrie cez závoj, ktorý visí medzi zemou a Slávou. Modlím sa, Bože, aby si z môjho syna urobil kazateľa. Modlím sa, aby ho Boh pomazal a dal mu dvojnásobnú porciu Ducha. Nech Boh požehná jeho život.
Ďakujem vám všetkým za vaše modlitby. Modlitba mení veci. Budem sa modliť aj za vaše deti. Billy, chlapče, jedného dňa, zlatko, ak Ježiš bude predlievať, budeme musieť ísť do jedného z týchto hrobov, kde na nás nasypú zem. Ale, synku, Boh nás vzkriesi. „Viem, že môj Vykupiteľ žije, v posledných dňoch bude stáť na tejto zemi.“
Modlím sa, aby ho Boh požehnal a uchránil pred nepriateľom. Daj mu voľný prístup na tejto dlhej ceste, môjmu synovi. Tam dole umiera veľa duší, ale hoď im záchranné lano, priveď ich. Ó, Pane, ach, ako ja...?... Môj syn, Pane, ktorého som vychoval pre Teba. Tu je môj syn, Pane; on je všetko, čo mám. Prinášam ho dnes ráno k Tebe. Som tak vďačný, Pane, že tomu verí...?... Som tak vďačný, že urobil pokánie, Bože. Ó, Pane Ježišu, ó, Kriste, pomaž ho Duchom Svätým. Udeľ mu, Pane, aby moc Ducha vzkrieseného Krista... podrž môjho chlapca. Udeľ mu to, Pane. Nech je naplnený Božím Duchom, aby kázal Slovo, čisté Evanjelium Kristovo, až do samých končín sveta. Udeľ mu to, Pane. Požehnaj ho a použi ho.
Tu stojí a pred sebou má vlastný hrob, Pane. Spomínam si na to ráno tam vonku, keď sme tam išli, kde ležala jeho mama a sestra. Ó, Kriste, toto bude zaznamenané v nebi. Zmiluj sa, Bože, udeľ môjmu chlapcovi vieru počas jeho života a na jeho ceste Domov, požehnaj ho v živote, požehnaj ho, Pane. Nech má veľkú službu a nech zachraňuje duše. Tu je, Pane. Ako si poveril svojho služobníka, aby išiel do celého sveta a robil učeníkov zo všetkých národov, krstiac ich v Mene Otca, Syna a Ducha Svätého; preto, Pane, nech je pri tomto poverení vyliate srdce k Tebe.

3 While He was... The Spirit of the Lord said, "Go near to the chariot," and here was the eunuch reading the Scripture, Isaiah 40: "All we like sheep have gone astray and God has laid upon us the iniquity--upon Him, the iniquity of us all, but He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. With His stripes we were healed."
And Philip said, "Understandest thou what thou readest?"
He said, "How can I 'less someone teach me?" So Philip got up on the chariot and o--taken the same Scripture begin to speak to him of the resurrection of Christ and His power. I believe Christ is with us, don't you?
And the eunuch said, "Here's water. What does hinder me from being baptized?" as soon as he heard the message.
He said, "Thou mayest, if thou believest with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
He said, "I believe with all of my heart, soul, and mind, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." He stopped the chariot. It was done.
When you truly, in your heart, believe that He is the Son of God, He that believeth shall not be condemned. He stopped the chariot. Philip and the eunuch went down into the water. Philip obeyed his commission by baptizing him. And when he did, the Spirit of the Lord caught him away. They didn't see him any more; he was two hundred miles away. Stand him...?... 4 To the dying one.... Now saved and filled with the Spirit. They were all shouting and screaming and carrying on. The Holy Spirit was falling. Next thing was baptism after conversion. Acts the 2nd chapter, the 37th verse: And when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost; for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."
Heavenly Father, nineteen hundred years since the Scripture has been written, and Your promise is still moving on. And now, Lord, here these young people, these two young ladies standing here to my right, they've accepted You as their Saviour; they believe the Gospel story. To my left, Lord, is my little nephew Melvin, and my own boy. O God, if it's possible this morning that two mothers could be called to look over the banister, to look down and see their boys now... Oh, how happy I am, Lord. Oh, to know that You, You answer prayer. That poor little mother Ruth, she's gone on years ago, but her prayer is answered now. She prayed that he would love You and serve You. He's making his stand this morning. To these others, their mothers maybe has gone on, Lord, we don't know; Thou does, but whatever, answer prayer.
And now, dear Father, as Your humble servant, a minister of the Gospel, I bring forward to perform my duty, as a priest. God, have mercy. And as I baptize them with the water, may the Holy Spirit seal Christ into their hearts. And may as they come up out of the water as You come up on the Easter morning, and may they raise from the watery grave of this chilly cold water; may someday, if they go to rest in the grave, may the clay clods break, the tombstone roll back. They'll be reunited again, Lord, with their loved ones in the kingdom with our Lord Jesus Christ Who made all this possible. May each one go with a full memory, the full assurance of what they're doing, moving--that they're moving forward now, believing this story to be true. He said, "He that believeth shall not be condemned. I am the Resurrection and Life. He that believeth in Me though he were dead, yet shall he live. Whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die." Here's their faith, their testimony. Lord, as I baptize them into the fellowship of this church, Lord, baptize them into the fellowship of Thy beloved Son by the Holy Spirit, for we ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Little did I know that he would do it, but he has chose this day, the resurrection, accepting Jesus as His Saviour, believing in His resurrection, and testifying before the people this morning, that he believes in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, accepts Him as his Saviour, and now to be baptized. His place down there is just one constant place for ministers. Anything... Ministers just come by and just help themselves to what he has. Almighty God, there's never been a charitable deed this man has done but what You knowed about it. You've got it all recorded up there in full. But the greatest deed that he's ever done in his life, the greatest thing, is accepting Thy beloved Son as His personal Saviour, hear the prayer of his loving wife and his children and everyone praying for him that they walk here to the pool to make a confession before this audience and testifying of being baptized with water, believing this Easter story is true. And as our Brother Jason is standing here with confessed faith in Jesus Christ, believing in the death, burial, and resurrection, standing here in the chilly cool waters represents death that took our Saviour away from here Who died in our place, we go down into a commemoration of His death, burial, and resurrection, to rise to new life to serve Him. Almighty God, bless my brother; bless his talents, make him a great man, Lord, for You. Hear the prayer of Your servant. 8 One of the greatest moments of my life. Looking across somebody's shoulder, my mother. I led her out here in the Ohio River and baptized her in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Now, my own boy. O God, if possible, let Hope look down over the banister this morning, look across the veil, hangs between earth and glory. I pray, God, will make a preacher out of my boy. I pray that God will anoint him and give him a double portion of the Spirit. May God bless his life.
Thank you all for your prayer. Prayer changes things. I'll pray for your children too. Billy, boy, some of these days, honey, we, if Jesus tarries, we got to go down in one of these, they'll throw dirt on us. But, sonny, God will bring us up. "I know my Redeemer liveth, the last days He'll stand on this earth."
I pray that God will bless him, keep the enemy from him. Give him a free access, way down this long road, son. There's many souls dying down there, but throw out the lifeline to them, bring them. I trust, Billy, that you'll stand and baptize literally thousands times thousands for a testimony for the remission of their sins. God, bless my boy, I pray...?...
O Master, Oh, how I...?... My boy, Lord, that I've raised for thee. Here's my boy, Lord; he's all I got. I bring him to You this morning. I'm so thankful, Lord, that he believes this...?... So thankful that he's repented, God. O Lord Jesus, O Christ, anoint him with the Holy Ghost. Grant it, Lord, that the power of the Spirit of the resurrected Christ; hold my boy. Grant it, Lord. May he be filled with God's Spirit to preach the Word, unadulterated Gospel of Christ, to all the ends of the world. Grant it, Lord. Bless him and use him.
Here he stands by the grave before him, Lord. I think of that morning out yonder, we're going there like mother laying there and sister. O Christ, this will be recorded in Heaven. Have mercy, God, grant my boy faith during his life and on his journey home, bless him in that life, bless him Lord. May he have a great ministry, saving souls. Here he is, Lord. As Thou hast commissioned Thy servant to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; therefore, Lord, upon this commission, why, my the heart bleeds to You.
